Project Description

A structural project was undertaken, and the required civil and specialized works were executed.

After a preliminary analysis, corrosion was observed in the reinforcing steel, along with detached concrete masses, fissures, and small cracks in some beams, columns, and other structural elements. These findings indicated the need for a structural evaluation to identify suitable and viable repair options.

The studies and subsequent work determined the necessary interventions, which included:

  • Rehabilitating damaged columns and slabs by injecting epoxy resins, restoring deteriorated concrete masses, neutralizing steel oxidation, and applying the required carbon fiber reinforcement system.
  • Strengthening key structural elements by increasing their sections and incorporating additional reinforcing steel as recommended by the structural studies.
