Project Description
A seismic-resistant assessment of the buildings was conducted, as several structural deficiencies were identified that required intervention. Among them was the condition of the tower, with the following:
- Slabs with weathering steel showing signs of rust and corrosion, particularly in the stair landings oriented to the north.
- The stairs on the east façade are fractured, and the reinforcing steel is corroded.
- The original support elements of the façade, consisting of steel plates, show evident oxidation and corrosion, with weak connections to the mezzanine slabs.
- A metallic structure was found on the roof for a television antenna, which was not originally planned.
- Transverse cracks across the entire section of most radial load-bearing beams on the first three (3) levels.
Our company successfully executed the repairs and structural reinforcement of the building.
